About Us - Executive Management

Justin Krum has served as Chief Executive Officer since the company's establishment.  Mr. Krum has been the founder and president of one of the largest residential and commercial solar companies in Northeast, which has sold and installed over 3.15 Mega Watts throughout New Jersey, Connecticut, long Island and New York states.

Since 1999, Mr. Krum has successfully managed the company to secure long term contracts with major vendors and large manufacturers.

In early 2005 he was asked to participate in The Home Depot solar program where they were able to quickly become the largest and most successful partner in the National program.

Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Krum was the primary sales manager at Power Independence Electric (PIE) Solar. With his unmatched determination and vision, he was able to quickly help PIE Solar grow into a leading solar installer in Northern California. Later in early 2003 he took on the task of expanding PIE solar operation to Central California where within six month they were able to capture 40% of the market.

Since entering the industry Justin has established relationships with hundreds of customers that range from the simplest residential install to complex commercial installations while maintaining at 99% approval rating.

In 2006 he was awarded the Performance Award by The Home Depot and BP Solar as the nation’s top solar dealer and installer.  Justin is also very active behind the scenes in the solar industry as a member of the national organization SEIA (Solar Electric Industries Associations), M-SEIA, and the BBB (Better Business Bureau).

Khosro E. Mehrfar has served as Chief Executive Officer since the company establishment. Dr. Mehrfar’s interest in alternative energy started early in mid 70’s when he was an undergraduate student in college of engineering at the university of Tehran, Iran.

After graduation, he moved to U.S. to pursue higher education and
earned his Master in 1982 and Ph.D. in 1986 in Civil engineering with emphasis on environment, energy and natural resources from the University of Akron, Ohio with emphasis on energy and environment.  While at the university, he led a team of engineers for the 3D design of NASA's wind tunnels at Lewis research center and later designed and implemented a GIS computer system for Public Utilities Commissions of Ohio - PUCO under Governor Richard Celeste and current co-chair of Homeland Security project at Century Foundation

The deliverable which was successfully installed at PUCO's headquarter in Columbus, Ohio was an advanced computer system to fully control and manage all electrical power grids across the state.

After completing graduate school, he moved to California and started working for Los Angeles office of Bechtel Corporation, an engineering and construction Management Company and became manager of automation on Bechtel’s Disney-MGM Studios Theme Parks projects in Paris. While at Bechtel, studying the complexity of the management of nuclear reactor power plants to create electricity in U.S. and in Europe convinced him that to produce safe, clean and enduring energy, solar power is one of the best alternatives. This conviction was further confirmed after he was assigned to a joint U.S. and Europe energy producing project with Italian power corporation Enel and EDF of France.

He started his own company, Mehr US Corp. and his interest in alternative, sustainable clean energy lead him to be part of a start-up company dedicated to solar energy.
