Senator Joseph Zarelli
Joseph Zarelli serves in the state of Washington and has been an astute
advocate of energy efficiency and green business as an integral part in
building better neighborhoods and creating a healthier environment for
his constituents. His approach has been to create a winning situation by
balancing the business values and environmental benefits with convincing
arguments and in a more realistic and pragmatic ways. His strong
business skills, and art of negotiation and professional competency has
been a major contributing factor.
He was first elected to the state senate in 1995 and since then has been
re-elected 4 times in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008, continuously serving
the people of his jurisdiction. In his leadership positions,
Senator Zarelli has been the Majority Caucus Vice Chair and Republican
Caucus Vice Chair. Since 2003, Senator Zarelli has been the Ranking
Republican Member of the Ways & Means committee and also more
recently served as the Ranking Republican Member on Economic Development
and Trade and Management; and is a member of the Rules Committee.

served by appointment on the US Department of Homeland Security Advisory
Council's State and Local Government Senior Advisory Committee.
Senator Zarelli has served our Country honorably in military uniform as
a member of the U.S. Navy from 1982-89 where he was selected Military
Member of the Year in 1987 and later received two awards of the “Joint
Services Achievement Medals”.
While serving since 1995 in the public sector, with a sharp focus on
economic development and budget management in serving the people of his
district, Senator Zarelli founded and serves as President of “JP

Wiegmann is founder of Wiegmann group, a Newport Beach based asset
management and investment advisory firm with services to individuals and
corporate clients. Steve served as vice president of commercial
properties with CB Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for providing
commercial real estate brokerage services to the Southern California
real estate market. From the start he was a Green advocate in building
industries, commercial properties, design and management of high rises.
Steve has been active in the green
movement even before it was called green. He has managed projects on
lighting retrofits, window tinting, mechanical systems on all types of
real estate and participated or initiated many green projects for both
the interior and exterior of property.

In his 12 years with CB
Richard Ellis (formerly CB Commercial and Coldwell Banker), Mr. Wiegmann
also served as senior real estate manager, where he was responsible for
the management and leasing of office and industrial projects owned by
major institutions. In this role, he gained significant experience in
working with major institutions and individual investors in the
disposition of multiple properties for the FDIC, RTC, UNUM, Prudential
Insurance, Koll Bren Realty Advisors, Citicorp, CB Richard Ellis
Investors, et al. Steve is a 1979 graduate of California State
University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business

Dr. Kenneth Jones, grew up
on a farm, and appreciates the value of good natural life. He graduated
Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown College.
He then continued his
study and received his medical degree from Ohio State University and
completed his residency at USC. While doing his medical practice, he was
also a General Partner of a 296 unit senior’s housing development in
Sacramento, California where he introduced green building concepts long
before the current trend of greening of buildings was fashionable. He
continued his interest in green life and started his own talk show
program on radio and web cast on the Internet.

Jones provides valuable advice on how to live green and how to do
business in a greener and more responsible manner with an eye on

consultation and advice to individual professionals and various
organizations and corporations.
Dr. Jones is a cofounder
of a successful company dedicated to green health based on a more
natural responsible green life. His expertise in medial science as
an MD graduate of Ohio State university has been instrumental in
building up the company and expanding its clientele.
He is active in the community services as soccer coach and
referee, in church, and in the local Scout Troop.
|Khosro Eddie Mehrfar has
served as managing partner since the start of the business. Dr.
Mehrfar’s specific interest is in the application of advanced technology in
the clean renewable energy industry. His interest started early in mid 70’s when he
was an undergraduate student in college of engineering at the university of
After graduation, he moved to U.S.
in 1979 to pursue higher education and
earned his Master in 1982 and Ph.D. in 1986 in Civil engineering with
emphasis on computer simulation and systems modeling of energy, environment and natural resources from the University of
Akron, Ohio. While at the university, he led a team of engineers for the 3D design of
NASA's underground wind tunnels at Lewis research center and later designed and implemented a GIS computer system for Public Utilities Commissions of Ohio -
PUCO under Governor Richard Celeste and current co-chair of Homeland Security project at

After completing graduate school, he moved to California and started working for Los Angeles office of

While at Bechtel, studying the complexity of the management of nuclear reactor power plants to create electricity in U.S. and in Europe convinced him that to produce safe, clean and enduring energy, solar power is one of the best alternatives. This conviction was further confirmed after he was assigned to a joint U.S. and Europe energy producing project with Italian power corporation Enel and EDF of France.
He started his own company; Mehr U S Corp. and his interest in alternative, sustainable clean energy lead him to be part of a spin-off company dedicated to solar energy.

Carol is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. She has her Bachelor’s degree from Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Philippines where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also obtained CPA licensure in the Philippines.
Carol is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA) and the California Society of CPA’s.

Charles has been practicing law for 28 years and is experienced in due diligence and contract review with business acquisitions,
specializing in transaction closings. Most recently he has focused on deal structures with
investors and various businesses in different industries ranging from
small businesses to large corporations..
Charles has extensive trial experience, having successfully litigated before virtually all courts and arbitration tribunals in
California. In addition, he has served as an arbitrator on a variety of businesses
disputes referred to him by the Orange County Superior Court.
He served as a Director and Western Development Chairman of the Armenian Assembly of America, and was founder and first President of the Orange County Armenian Professional Society. Mr. Barsam served as a Director of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County and is presently on the Board of Directors of the Armenian
Eye care Project.
Charles received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from UCLA and obtained a
Jurist Doctorate from Hastings College of Law.
