SACRAMENTO - California Contractors State License Board Warns Californians: Don’t Get Burned When Going Solar. Hot tips protect consumers from solar energy scammers.

The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) is alerting California homeowners about the need to select a licensed and qualified contractor before signing a contract for a solar energy project. Consumers who want to “go green” and take advantage of state and federal rebates and tax credits could be preyed upon by unlicensed, unscrupulous, or unaware contractors. more...

Mehr Solar have been installing multiple residential and commercial solar systems in southern California in a joint project with its major vendors. The planning phase completed in 10Q1 and design, engineering and architectural phases close to completion with full installations on their way.

Mehr Solar completed first round of projects in various areas of California Inland Empire. Although the marketing company we hired promised us on contractual basis, a minimum of 100kW projects, but they could not fully deliver. We wish them luck and are working mostly through our referral programs and leads through our current clients.

Los Angeles based Channel 5 KTLA invited Mehr Solar for a solar energy program as part of their Green Effort. One of our executive participated in the TV program which was broadcast live on August 22nd, 2009.

Record Gazette, a southern California newspaper published in palm Springs and surrounding areas printed an article about Mehr Solar and interviewed one of our clients. following is an excerpt from Record Gazette published on Friday January 8th 2010 on page 6.

Mr. & Mrs. Lyndon and JoAnn Taylor a recent client of Mehr Solar indicated that their bill fluctuates, but is typically about $20 per month compared to their previous average of about $130. The couple were attracted to the technology as well as the ecology and economy of Solar. "It is a simple system. USC school of Business Management has invited Mehr Solar for a lecture about sustainable resources and solar energy. The lecture started first quarter of 2009.

Science and Discovery Center is an ideal place for everyone to learn. Located in Orange County, California, Mehr Solar was invited to participate in their week long Green Program. Mehr Solar was one of the two solar companies among a long list of companies which was selected by the board of directors of the Science and Discovery Center to participate.

Our projects in southern California will be featured by KNBC channel 4 of Los Angeles. This is scheduled to be filmed while our crews are installing solar systems.

Per approval of the board of directors of Newport Beach association, a custom pole based solar system was designed, engineered and installed in Corona Del Mar, in Newport Beach. The project was commissioned on August 15, 2009 and has been producing green energy ever since. Please see Bruce's comment in testimonial section below.

Mehr solar executives sit on the board of advisors of Golden West College of Huntington Beach, CA. We also have one of our executive as a member of the board of directors of American Solar Energy Society - Orange County chapter. Our goal is to educate communities of the benefits of solar energy and make it affordable for all.
